America First Policies Takes “Tax Cuts to Put America First” Tour to the Hoosier State
America First Policies made its 14th stop on its "Tax Cuts to Put America First" tour on Friday, May 18, at the Indianapolis Downtown Marriott in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The series, "Tax Cuts to Put America First," features guest speakers discussing the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act--signed into law by President Donald J. Trump in December 2017.
The event featured a panel with U.S. Senator from Indiana, Todd Young; President & CEO of the Job Creators Network, Alfredo Ortiz; and Cathy Langham, founder & president of Langham Logistics. The panel discussed how the tax legislation is affecting Indiana residents, families, businesses, and the nation as a whole.
Following the panel, Indiana Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch introduced the Vice President to a crowd of more than 500 people.
"...These tax cuts the President signed into law are going to save a typical family of four here in Indiana about $2,100 a year on your taxes. Ninety percent of working families will see that tax cut reflected in their paycheck before the year is out. But that’s only half the story. The truth is, we also know that Hoosiers are also going to see more money in your pockets, because of the tax cuts for job creators and the impact they're already having," said the Vice President.
